The NGR 12-10 D has 10 needles with a 2mm O.D. and a replaceable PTFE (Teflon) coated face plate. This makes it suitable for handling abrasive material like Carbon Fiber Sheets. Each needle bank can be actuated independently. The needle penetration is adjustable. The state of the gripper can be monitored with optional ICS 8 sensors which slide into the C-Grooves of the pneumatic cylinders.
