A Sprue Gripper is a component of the Modular End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) system used in an Automated Injection Molding process. Designed to grip a Sprue (aka runner), the Sprue Gripper attains and maintains positive control of the Sprue during demolding. Sprue Grippers come in a variety of shapes and sizes that allows the EOAT to conform to sprue/part geometry.
